It’s been hot and humid in Melbourne this week. On Thursday, I took a friend to the Brighton Bathing Boxes. Though he was born in country Victoria, he spent most of his life in and around London and hadn’t ever seen the beauties that adorn a beach so close to my home. The dreaded first post…or something new and exciting?
I guess it’s only dreaded because you want something catchy and meaningful, hoping your musings will be read far and wide, but in actual fact, it’s the start of something new and exciting.

A few weeks ago, the Mister and I decided we’d start up a bit of a hobby business buying, restoring where needed, then on-selling vintage goods. I also saw it as an opportunity to let my true self exist and connect with other like-minded individuals, and so Alexie RicRac was born (although a pseudonym, it is also an anagram of sorts our first and last names…points if you can figure it out!).
