Next Tuesday is St Patrick’s Day, and this week’s What To Wear Wednesday is brought to you by the beautiful greens of the holiday celebrated by the emerald isle. St Patrick’s Day celebrates the introduction of Christianity to Ireland. I’m not sure how many people are actually aware of that though! Even though I’ve Irish blood in me (my mother’s side), I’ve never celebrated St Patrick’s Day but I do try to wear a few green things on the day. I’d love to dress head to toe this year, and boy do I wish I had these gorgeous pieces in my wardrobe.
I built this outfit around the skirt. Its yellows and greens lend itself to being able to use different shades of green all over. I have to admit I was saddened that I couldn’t find any four leaf clover items to style. Maybe next year?
Do you celebrate St Patrick’s Day in any way?
We’re apparently having a small St Patrick’s day celebration at work as one of my colleagues happens to hail from Ireland. Now I really wish I had a skirt like that to wear!

That’s what I’ve been thinking all morning! There’s still plenty of time…
