Ahhh summer, where are you my friend? I yearned for you all year, and you but teased me with a few days of heat. Not a visit to the beach has been made this season, and I’m not sure I can wait again until you arrive in the last months of 2015.
Summer’s pretty much all said and done here in Melbourne. With just four days of summer left – though with any luck we’ll get an Indian summer lasting well into March, I hope – I thought I’d throw together a poolside ensemble for anyone heading to a cooler climate this autumn or winter.

I love mixing prints and love how the green of the palm fronds in the sarong compliment and accentuate the gorgeous florals of the one piece halter. The clever placement of the inbuilt belt at the natural waist of the swimsuit carves out an incredible figure.
It’s vital to protect yourself in the sun, so don’t forget your wide brimmed at, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
After your swim, slip into some gorgeous shoes, pop on some jewellery, and head out for a spot of shopping, or perhaps the bar if you’re after a little less leg work and little more sipping on cocktails.
